iAnywhere Delivers SQL Anywhere For Microsoft Windows x64 Platforms

iAnywhere extends its support for SQL Anywhere Studio to include Microsoft Windows x64 platforms, providing enhanced performance and scalability for a new generation of database applications.

DUBLIN, Calif. April 25, 2005 - iAnywhere Solutions, Inc., a subsidiary of Sybase, Inc. (NYSE: SY), today announced that SQL Anywhere Studio will fully support Windows Server 2003 x64 Editions and Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, Microsoft's new 64-bit operating systems for both Intel and AMD 64-bit processors.
By providing native 64-bit support, SQL Anywhere users with large databases will be able to take advantage of powerful 64-bit processing capabilities in applications that require large amounts of memory or intensive numeric calculations. Support for 64-bit Windows is available as part of SQL Anywhere Studio V9.0.2.
